About Elke Vogelsang:
Elke Vogelsang is a photographer from Germany. When her husband fell seriously ill a few years ago, she turned to photography as a means of distraction and stress relief. Fortunately, everything turned out well. Her passion for photography became a healing creative outlet and eventually a profession. Today, she works as an editorial and commercial photographer specializing in pet photography. Her three "photo companion dogs" and beloved canine family members, Noodles, Scout, and Ioli, are the stars of her licensed archive. These and other animal models of Elke have gained global fame through publications in magazines and newspapers around the world, including The Sunday Times Magazine and National Geographic. She is the author of two books and numerous articles on photography. Her works have been exhibited in group and solo exhibitions worldwide, including Paris, London, Lisbon, San Anselmo, and Singapore.
